Survey of Science II

Prerequisite: Survey of Science I

Survey of Science II is the second of a three-year sequence designed to meet the newly developed Core Curriculum Standards. It is intended for students who are currently enrolled in either Algebra-Geometry I or II or HSPA Prep 10.

This course completes the basic biology begun in Survey of Science I and Chemistry. Real world applications, fieldwork, and technology will be used where possible. Concepts presented in this course include ecology, evolution, natural selection, body systems, matter and energy, atomic structure, and chemical reactions.
